Radical Italy wins at Spa with Francesco Sini

Change the championship, from IPS Radical World Cup, but it does not change the result. Two class wins, with a lot of fourth place, are the spoils of Francesco Sini, and the team "by UKGarage Solaris Motorsport" in their first participation in the pan-European brand of Radical, on the demanding circuit of Spa-Francorchamps.

Among the rivals, included well-known names in the scene endurance, including Joao Barbosa, Rollcentre Pescarolo driver in the Le Mans Series, and Horst Felbermayr Junior, one of the top Porsche drivers in the same LMS.

At his first contact with the track in the Ardennes, Francesco Sini allowed himself the luxury of time to score the first class in practice.
The result has been confirmed in qualifying, complete with a 11th place absolute front all'habitué English Nick Sinfield. In Race 1

Sini has undergone the initial attack of Goncalo Araujo, thanks to a best of aerodynamics, has taken off until the mandatory pit stop. During the pit stop the team has UKGarage lightly loaded wing, Francesco Sini allowing the attack to revive the strong and combative Portuguese. The last three laps saw a fight with a knife between his teeth between the two pilots, with Araujo blatantly cutting the Bus Stop chicane and passes the finish line first, to then be penalized by 30 ". The class win of Sini is the seventh place overall behind the most powerful Radical SR8.

The second race was again a masterpiece of courage and coordination pilot-box.
The first turning point, also for the overall standings, is already on the second lap, with an intense rain shower, which compelled some of the drivers of the SR8 to return immediately to mount rain tires. Francesco Sini, at that time eighth after having gained three places at the start, remains on track, still hounded by Araujo, but turns at the top of the second lap Radillon wet and loses all hope of reaching Sini.
After only two laps, the rain stopped and reason for pilots who have held the slick. Among these, it highlights just Felbermayr Jr. Sini that reaches and engages a fight with him close.
During the mandatory pit stop, Francesco Sini decides to go back one lap later than the opponent directly, groped for a "death ride" with a clear track. Will prove the decisive move with Felbermayr who finds herself not only removed a few seconds, but also forced to defend himself from attack by Ernst Kirchmayr, thus losing the opportunity to attack Sini.

For the hot shoe Pescara is a triumph, with a fourth place overall di Mameli anthem that resonates on the podium of the SR3 class. The same Felbermayr Jr. has strongly commended Sini, incredulous to the fact that he was the first race in the Radical World Cup

Francesco Sini The appointment is for the resumption of hostilities in the Italian Prototype Series, September 30 at Varano . For
Guelph, the Radical candidate of "UKGarage, looms instead of a triple commitment in hill climbs with superspecialists Carlo Scola, with the peak for the Cup Mounts Iblei September 16. The
"UKGarage" in the meantime is intensifying relations with potential riders to complete the manning for 6 Hours of Vallelunga, where reliability is demonstrated so far might reveal the trump card.
